Our Story

Since 2001, South GA Coatings has built a reputation as a trusted leader in the roof coating industry. Over the years, our team has restored more than 15 million square feet of roofing systems — including Metal, EPDM, TPO, Foam, Gravel, and Concrete. Early on, we learned that there is no “one-size-fits-all” coating solution. That’s why we became certified contractors with the top coating manufacturers in the industry, ensuring every project gets the right system for long-lasting protection.

As a family-owned business, our standards are personal. Owner Kelvin Wilcox and his son Casey Wilcox bring over 40 years of combined experience, and when you include our crew leaders—who are truly part of the family—that knowledge grows to more than 60 years of expertise in commercial roof coatings.

In 2024, after Hurricane Helene devastated so many homes and businesses, our phones rang nonstop with people looking for help. At the time, we could only serve coating clients—but as we watched the surge of fraud targeting homeowners and business owners, we knew we had to step up. That moment changed everything.

Today, South GA Coatings & Roofing is proud to be GAF-certified for both residential and commercial roofing applications, including shingles and TPO. Our name may have grown, but our mission remains the same:
