Since 2001, South Georgia Coatings has built a reputation as a trusted leader in the roof coating industry by doing things the right way—with experience, honesty, and a commitment to long-term solutions.

Over the years, our team has restored more than 15 million square feet of roofing systems, working across Metal, EPDM, TPO, Foam, Gravel, and Concrete roofs throughout South Georgia and surrounding areas. Early on, we learned an important lesson: no two roofs are the same, and no single coating solution works for every system. That understanding shaped our approach and led us to become certified contractors with the industry’s top coating manufacturers, ensuring every project receives the right system for lasting protection and performance.

As a family-owned business, our standards are personal. Owner Kelvin Wilcox and his son, Casey Wilcox, bring decades of hands-on experience to every job, and when you include our crew leaders—who are truly part of the South GA Coatings family—our combined expertise exceeds 60 years in commercial roof coatings and restoration. We take pride in the relationships we build with our clients, many of whom trust us not just for a single project, but for the ongoing care and protection of their roofing systems.

In 2024, Hurricane Helene became a defining moment for our company. As homes and businesses across our region were impacted, our phones rang nonstop with people searching for help. At the time, our focus was solely on roof coatings, but as we witnessed the rise in fraud and misleading practices targeting property owners during recovery efforts, we knew we had a responsibility to do more. That moment pushed us to expand our services, ensuring our community had access to honest, dependable roofing solutions when they needed them most.

Today, South GA Coatings & Roofing is proud to be GAF-certified for both commercial and residential roofing applications, including shingles and TPO systems.
